all original GM Heavy Duty Race components: J-56 front calipers
with pyrotex heat insulators. Tuff trided front spindles with fast
ratio steering arms and special caliper support bracket with stock
JL-8 caliper brackets. Beryllium backed racing flanged specially
compounded molded pads, dual pin. Service package 12 bolt disc brake
rear end, currently 4:88 gears, with 22 friction plate posi with Hi
load springs, large rear axle tubes to accommodate larger rear axle
bearings with shotpeened and magnafluxed axles. Calipers with pyrotex
heat insulators. Factory crossram 2x4 intake assembly with two 600 cfm
Holley carbs. Wide base air cleaner, factory fiberglass hood with prop
rod and hood pins. Factory Transistorized Ignition system.
Following parts are non-stock but were typical of the equipment used by racers: Packard racing wires. Koni adjustable shocks. Goodyear 6.00 x15
Bluestreaks. Stewart Warner vintage temp and oil pressure gauges. The photo set was taken at Road Atlanta in '95 and shows the car with American Racing Torque Thrust D wheels. The original Mini-Lite magnesium racing mags shown aside are now mounting the
Bluestreaks.
